Declutter your mind
Today take some time to declutter your mind.
Sit quietly, and close your eyes. Concentrate on your in breath, and your out breath.
Don’t try to stop the chatter of your mind, but instead keep your focus gently on your breathing.
Look for the space between each breath.
Find rest and comfort in those spaces.
The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak.
Hans Hofmann
Find rest and comfort in the space between each breath–wow–what a wonderful way to deepen the experience of the breath and the mind/body phenomenon. And, I love your quote for the day. Such quintessential wisdom!! I feel so grateful to have wandered to your post early in the morning before sunrise as I am about to sit down to meditate. Hugs and love to you, my dear friend!
Oh lovely, I am so touched that you liked my post, and it helped you this morning. I feel very honoured :-). I hope you have a wonderful Sunday ♥
I need to do this today, thanks.
*hugs*
Ah there are those days where it’s so hard to remember, just breathe. Thanks for a short and sweet reminder. ♥
Thank you!! :-). This is one of my favourite meditations – to notice the pause between each breath. It works so well for me ♥
♥ the Photography, the twirls of the petals, soothing and refreshing color!
Thank you so much :-). My neigbhour has a rose garden – it always gives me plenty of material and inspiration 🙂
