Everyday Wisdom #15

Find your guru

We all need help to uncover and strengthen our spiritual nature.

Look around you for guidance – you might find it in a yoga teacher, a monk, a priest, or a philospher.

Whoever it may be, when you do find inspiration in someone’s words, pursue it further.

Attend one of their classes, or services.  Read more of their book.

And it doesn’t even have to be a real person….

My lovely friend Maria shared this wonderful video with me recently:

The Truth according to Puppetji

Guru’s lift someone up through knowledge and wisdom.  They teach, and impart wisdom, so that those who go after them will be better for it.

So when you do find a “guru”, use the opportunity to learn and to grow.

Happiness is when what you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony.
– Mahatma Gandhi

And sometimes a Guru helps you just with their presence, which is what I find Puppetji does.
