I agree – learning about Buddhism has changed my life so much. And especially living according to the principles and my intentions. I try to incorporate practice into every aspect of my life.

because i love the slavery era, i love the book Black Like Me. my best girl friend inspires me because she is such a strong christian

That is truly amazing!! Do you credit anything in particular for such a long and lasting friendship? I have friendships that are 20+ years old. For me it’s about maintaining contact. Being a good listener. And forgiveness.
she is a loving, caring, and accepting person. she knows all my weaknesses and good point. she never judges but gently stirs my thinking into other directions. i love her very much in a christian, sister way.
